Kyle & Halley July Update
Hi again friends and family! First of all thank you!! Thank you for following along, reading, commenting, sharing and being a part of this journey.
It makes my day to read the comments, see the shares and talk to you guys in person about it all. So THANK YOU PLANK RUNNER CREW AND PLEASE CONTINUE!

I’m working on my email subscribers list to keep you all updated. As well as, some freebies hopefully to come to those of you who have been following along from the beginning.
Let’s Refresh
Catching everyone up, Kyle and I are working on different boats this summer both traveling along the East coast. Or at least Kyle is & Iโm trying to.

The past couple of weeks months, the engines on my boat have been receiving major repairs. With the boat still unable to move, I was able to make it to my old teammate’s wedding back in Colorado!
It was a spectacular reunion for the whole team with our old assistant coach’s wedding conveniently on the same weekend in Fort Collins as well!

Just after, we have finally completed our engine work and drum roll please…made it up the coast!
The passage honestly was grim. The first two days we experienced critical problems making us turn around back into port. As a consequence, we ran the boat a little slower the rest of the way. Stopping in port overnight extended our original 3 day trip to a total of 9 days.
However, for me and the 2 delivery crew hired, it was great! We got to check out Cape Canaveral, Fernandina, Charleston, Beaufort, Norfolk, Atlantic City and the long awaited town of Norwalk.

If you couldn’t tell how miserable I was becoming from my Social Media Is Fake post, you’ll be relieved to know that Norwalk has been my medicine.
I do have the crew car (just my car;)) up here. Though it is extremely nice to have places just off the boat to walk to and meet people. I have my pick of things to do from beach, bar, restaurant, mini golf and dog park within a few hundred yards of the boat. I can’t wait for Kyle to come visit!
Kyle’s Kicking Yacht Butt Stern
Kyle’s been adjusting to yacht life very quickly. So far heโs been able to explore Newport, Sag Harbor, New Bedford, Cape Cod and Nantucket!

When asked to describe his yachting journey so far he replied, โI mean if you had told me 6 months ago Iโd be going to all these places and seeing all these things expense free I would think you were crazy.โ
He also added, โItโs very rapid and ongoing always during the season, but itโs crazy to wake up in a new place every week while still technically being at your home (boat).”
“As far as the work, very hands on and involved which I love. Not so much the service side of things but itโs a part of the job but Iโm always learning and looking to take on new things”, Kyle reveals.
It was recently Kyle’s birthday as well. Unfortunately, I could not celebrate with him but he was able to go out for a nice tender ride (ride on the smaller boat) and dinner with his captain.
If you haven’t gotten a chance to wish him Happy Birthday, don’t worry he is still accepting presents!

Moving Forward
It’s crazy to think we’re already half way through summer. As for now, Kyle and I are still “in season”. Bosses want to use their boats and for the most part we’ll be on stand by.
We both respectively have a few more boss trips planned that hopefully will line up so we can get some days together!
Kyleโs season ends approximately in October and heโs hoping to use some of his vacation time to head back to Colorado for some quality friends and family time.
As for me, we’re just getting started! So stay tuned!
